Associate Attorney With 3 Years Of Prior Civil Litigation Experience

Melville office of our client seeks an associate attorney with 3 years of prior civil litigation experience. The candidate will represent clients in court or before government agencies. Will prepare and draft legal documents, written reports, strategy, and legal developments on behalf of clients. Motion practice. Admission to New York State Bar Association is required. Medical malpractice defense experience preferred. Should have experience in all phases of defense litigation, including depositions, motion practice, court proceedings, and file management.

The candidate should have a JD from an accredited law school. Must have excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Excellent legal acumen is required. Self-Starter with the ability to manage caseload from inception to completion is needed. Must be a team player.
