Duties:

  • Conduct thorough legal research using platforms like Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw to support immigration case strategies.
  • Draft and file legal documents such as petitions, applications, and motions related to business immigration matters.
  • Advise clients on immigration regulations, compliance issues, and case statuses.
  • Represent clients in immigration-related negotiations and proceedings.
  • Assist senior attorneys in complex business immigration cases, providing detailed legal analysis.
  • Stay informed on the latest developments in immigration law and policy, ensuring compliance with regulatory changes.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients, providing updates on case progress and addressing their concerns.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in the state of Texas or eligible for admission.
  • Strong legal research skills and proficiency in legal platforms like Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw.
  • Demonstrated experience in drafting precise and clear legal documents.
  • Knowledge of business immigration law and related regulations.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations while maintaining professionalism.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Texas State Bar or eligibility for admission.

Skills:

  • Expertise in business immigration law, including regulatory compliance.
  • Strong research and analytical abilities.
  • Proficient in legal drafting and negotiation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
