Job Title: Securities Attorney - Investment Funds Group (Professional Track)

Job Location: San Francisco, CA

Job Overview: A well-established law firm seeks an experienced Securities Attorney to join their Investment Funds Group in a non-partnership track position. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structured securities offerings, with a focus on commercial real estate law. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned attorney looking to work with public and private real estate companies, REITs, institutional investors, and financial investors on complex transactions involving acquisitions, dispositions, restructurings, complex financings, and the development of commercial real estate.

Duties:

  • Represent clients in connection with structured securities offerings and commercial real estate transactions.
  • Provide legal counsel on acquisitions, dispositions, restructurings, complex financings, and development.
  • Collaborate with clients, internal teams, and stakeholders to develop legal strategies.
  • Draft and review agreements, contracts, and legal documents.
  • Research and analyze complex legal issues and provide strategic solutions.
  • Maintain strong attention to detail while managing a high volume of work.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational and time-management skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and applicable laws.
  • Foster positive relationships with clients and colleagues.

Requirements:

  • At least 6 years of experience managing structured securities offerings.
  • Strong commercial real estate law background, including finance, acquisitions, and dispositions.
  • Experience working with public and private real estate companies, REITs, and institutional investors.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle complex transactions and manage multiple projects.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admitted to practice law in California.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication abilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
