Duties

• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients, ensuring their best interests are represented.
• Draft a range of legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, and other necessary filings.
• Stay informed about relevant laws and regulations, particularly those impacting tribal law and client interests.
• Maintain organized case files, ensuring documentation is accurate and current.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in California.
• Preferred experience in litigation, though newly licensed attorneys are encouraged to apply.
• Proficiency in legal research tools, particularly Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis.
