Wichita office of our client seeks associate attorney with experience. The candidate will prepare clients for administrative hearings; Will advocate for clients at administrative hearings; and write administrative appeals to the Appeals Council. Will write multiple appellate briefs every month to federal court judges and occasionally participate in oral arguments. A background in Social Security Disability law or appellate work is helpful. Must have an active attorney license in Missouri or Kansas or a willingness to acquire within a month of employment (required). Must be a licensed attorney or soon-to-be licensed law school graduate to work as an associate attorney in its hearings and appellate departments.
The candidate should have strong organizational skills, communication skills, and legal analysis.
