A law firm seeks a skilled Employment Litigation Associate to join its San Francisco, CA office. This role is ideal for an attorney with 5 to 7 years of experience in labor and employment law, particularly in defending against class and PAGA litigation matters.

Duties:

  • Defend clients in employment litigation, including class actions and representative actions.
  • Draft and respond to initial pleadings and discovery requests.
  • Prepare and argue motions, and conduct depositions.
  • Provide employment law counseling regarding federal and state regulations.
  • Engage in trial preparation, with trial experience considered a plus.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in California.
  • Proven experience in class action and PAGA litigation.
  • Strong skills in legal research, writing, and advocacy.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited institution.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the California State Bar.

Skills:

  • Excellent research and writing abilities.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
