Duties:

• Handle all aspects of workers’ compensation defense litigation

• Draft pleadings, motions, and legal correspondence

• Conduct discovery, depositions, and legal research

• Represent clients in hearings, conferences, and trials

• Utilize paperless systems and digital legal tools

• Maintain proactive and professional client communication

• Collaborate with legal teams and external stakeholders

Requirements:

• 1 year of experience in workers’ compensation defense (preferred)

• Experience with the Defense Base Act or Longshore & Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act (a plus)

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Excellent research and analytical abilities

• Effective communication, both written and verbal

• Ability to thrive in a remote, paperless environment

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active Member in Good Standing with the State Bar of California
