Washington, D.C. office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks health law associate (transactional) attorney with 1+ year of M&A experience. The candidate will be responsible for the transactional work for multiple large provider and private equity clients, and will be working on a variety of transaction types on both the buy-side and sell-side, including mergers, stock and asset acquisitions and sales, and joint ventures. Responsibilities will include working independently and with other firm attorneys on all aspects of transactions, including due diligence review and coordination, preparing closing checklists, drafting transaction documents, coordinating with clients and outside counsel to address open issues, and taking the lead on items requiring follow-up. Must have an LL.M. degree from an ABA accredited law school. Must be admitted to or eligible for admission to the DC Bar. Should preferably have familiarity with federal and state laws regulating health care providers, including the federal Anti-Kickback Statute, the Stark Law, state corporate practice of medicine restrictions, CON and licensure requirements.

The candidate should have attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to respond to client requests quickly, efficiently, and effectively. Must have a JD degree from an ABA accredited law school. Should have excellent written/verbal communication skills. A high level of professionalism in working and engaging with demanding clients needed. Should be able to balance and prioritize multiple competing priorities and responsibilities, be highly organized and exercise extreme attention to detail. Must be able to collaborate and work effectively in team settings.
