Alexandria office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a patent prosecution associate attorney with 2-4 years of relevant experience. The candidate will be involved in all facets of patent law, including the analysis and preparation of replies to office actions; invention and disclosure meetings/calls with clients; preparation and prosecution of new patent applications; counseling clients on patent-related matters; agreements and related transactions; and appeals. Must have a technical background in the areas of inorganic or organic chemistry, and a Master's or Doctorate in the relevant field is required. Industrial experience is a plus. Must have a J.D. degree from an ABA-accredited law school and be licensed to practice in a State Bar and before the USPTO.
