Senior Timber and Agribusiness Transactions Associate

Portland office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks senior timber and agribusiness transactions associate attorney with 5+ years of experience. The ideal candidate must have law firm experience representing clients in one or more of the following: mergers and acquisitions; debt financing; general commercial transactions; formation and governance matters and other business transactions, specifically serving clients in the timberlands, forest products, agribusiness, real estate, and/or title insurance industries. Independently produce client-ready documents and will work in teams with others on complex transactions. Experience working with legal descriptions and real property title matters, including reviewing and understanding title insurance reports, commitments, and policies essential.

The candidate should have strong intellectual curiosity and desire to achieve client goals. Must have a commitment to client service and team success. Should have ability to communicate business goals into contract language; and JD degree from an accredited university.
