Durham office of our client seeks an attorney with 3+ years of experience. The candidate will speak to prospective new clients and advise them on the benefits of representation. Will speak to potential clients about their case, build rapport with them, and provide excellent service to answer any questions they have. Evaluate potential claims and conduct the necessary research. Supervise a paralegal and direct their work. Review and monitor cases to ensure clients receive outstanding service. Handle escalated calls that require attorney communication. Negotiate claims. Strategize ways to maximize the value of cases for clients. Communicate with clients with compassion and empathy and in a manner that encourages their confidence and trust. Analyze and summarize legal documents. Handle legal research and drafting of a wide range of legal documents. Must be currently licensed to practice law in North Carolina. Bilingual Spanish ability is required.
The candidate must have analytical, legal research, and writing skills. Excellent oral and written communications skills are needed. Strong typing skills are essential. Strong attention to detail is a must. Should enjoy working with people and providing excellent service.
