Duties:

• Handle a variety of general liability defense litigation cases.
• Develop and execute case strategies under the guidance of senior attorneys.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
• Conduct depositions and interviews of witnesses.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, including trials, hearings, and mediations.
• Provide timely updates and strategic advice to clients regarding case progress.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure comprehensive case management.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in general liability defense or related litigation.
• Strong understanding of Florida laws and court procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
• Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional written and oral communication abilities.
• Proficiency in legal technology, including case management software.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in Florida and good standing with the Florida Bar.

Certifications:

• None specified beyond a valid Florida Bar license.
