Carmel office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a litigation associate attorney with experience. The candidate will draft and organize legal documents, including pleadings, motions, complaints, demands, and discovery, ensuring exceptional spelling, grammar, format, and content. Will conduct legal research and factual investigation. Analyze statutes, decisions, legal articles, codes, documents, and other relevant data to advance case preparation and determine causes of action. Participate in calendar management, docketing, and preparation for depositions, mediations, and trials. Appear at depositions, attend hearings/mediations, and assist at trials. Maintain clear lines of communication with clients, counsel, court, and others. Organize and maintain client files in the case management system. Oversee document filing with the court. Communicate with the administrative team to ensure that correspondence, client education, and other literature are mailed to clients. Handle case negotiations. Conduct settlement preparations. Perform other duties as directed by the Managing Attorney to meet the ongoing needs of the firm. Must have the applicable knowledge of motions, discovery, terminology, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules, and procedures. Experience with depositions, mediations, and hearings. Advanced proficiency with the use of technology, including Microsoft Office Suite, cloud-based case management software, and computer-based legal research, is required. Must be licensed to practice law in Indiana. Experience in personal injury litigation is preferred.

The candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and organized work approach. The ability to work well under pressure and address multiple projects with a high level of quality and productivity is required. Strong listening and interpersonal skills are needed. Must have the capacity to learn, adapt, and manage a workload with a positive attitude and minimal supervision. Should have the ability to compile, review, classify, prioritize, analyze, and present data effectively. Willingness to work cooperatively is required. Dependability, initiative, and concern for the needs of the firm needed. Must have a high degree of data entry accuracy. Should have a commitment to providing high-quality legal assistance and building credibility with clients.
