The Villages office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a real estate lawyer with 3-5 years of experience. The candidate assists clients with the legal aspects of real estate transactions, including reviewing documentation, negotiating the terms and conditions related to real estate, as well as facilitating the transfer of titles. Provides legal advice and representation to individuals and businesses in purchases and sales of residential and commercial real estate. Negotiates client concerns, including liens, judgments, outstanding permits encroachment, landlord/tenant disputes-working toward resolving disputes. Provides legal advice on title issues, escrow disputes, zoning violations, property management, restrictions and agreements on real estate, property taxes, and contract interpretation. Works with realtors, title processors, and closers, offering legal oversight and guidance. Drafts routine real estate documentation, including sales contracts, leases, and amendments. Performs other related duties as assigned. Active license to practice law and/or membership in state Bar is required.

The candidate must have a Bachelors degree in law and a Juris Doctor or equivalent from an accredited law school. Must have superior verbal and written communication skills. A thorough understanding of technology and scientific developments and real estate law is required. Excellent interpersonal, customer service skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail are a must. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines are needed. Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills are needed. The ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate is important. The ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment is necessary. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Double Time. A thorough understanding of foreclosure is a must.
