Immigration Attorney

Memphis office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks an immigration attorney with 7-10 years of immigration experience (Adjustment of Status based on Marriage, Removal of Condition). The candidate will e representing clients in Immigration Court and before the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). Will be drafting motions for Immigration Court. Drafting legal briefs and client declarations. Review declarations and completed application packets before submission to USCIS/Immigration Court. Reviewing components and/or all parts of application packets before submission to USCIS/Immigration Court to ensure legal elements are met. Attend USCIS interviews in Memphis, TN, and throughout the U.S. Perform any other task/responsibilities as necessary. Should have 3 years VAWA experience preferred (Whether with USCIS or immigration court) or if lacking VAWA experience (Must have 5 years extensive Asylum immigration court litigation experience). Must fluently speak and write in English. Must be licensed to practice law in good standing in any state through; a Tennessee license is preferred. Extensive DACA experience is a plus. Extensive VAWA experience is desired. Extensive Asylum experience is preferred. Extensive immigration court experience is a plus. Extensive naturalization experience is desired. Should preferably have Adjustment of Status Through Marriage.

The candidate should preferably be a highly motivated individual with a passion for advocacy for the immigrant community. Must be able to travel within the U.S. travel for client interviews. A Juris Doctorate is desired.
