A prominent law firm in Minneapolis is in search of a dedicated Environmental and Tort Associate Attorney to be an integral part of their practice group. If you have 2-4 years of experience in toxic tort, environmental litigation, and/or environmental regulatory counseling, this is your opportunity to excel in a role focused on defending and advising clients in the waste disposal, manufacturing, and energy development sectors. You will be immersed in litigation, administrative enforcement, and compliance matters. The ideal candidate will have experience in defending toxic tort, citizen suits, and administrative enforcement actions, navigating complex environmental regulations, representing PRPs in cleanups, and interpreting regulatory developments. As an Environmental and Tort Associate Attorney, you will play a vital role in defending and advising clients in environmental matters. Your responsibilities will include defending toxic tort, citizen suits, and administrative enforcement actions, as well as navigating a wide range of environmental regulations and permitting under laws such as RCRA, CERCLA, Clean Water Act, Clean Air Act, Toxic Substances Control Act, and their state-law counterparts. Additionally, you will be involved in representing PRPs in cleanups, interpreting regulatory developments, and advocating for client interests in a variety of forums.

The ideal candidate for this position will have 2-4 years of experience in toxic tort, environmental litigation, and/or environmental regulatory counseling. You should have the ability to interpret complex environmental regulations and navigate a variety of environmental laws. Strong communication and advocacy skills are essential.
