Divorce and Family Law Associate Attorney

Hackensack office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks divorce and family law associate attorney with 2-15 years of family law litigation experience handling divorce, child custody, post-judgment matters, domestic violence, and other family law-related matters. The candidate will handle full cycle representation of clients. Will make court appearances on a regular basis. Ability to prioritize and analyze tasks, recommend and implement improvements, and anticipate future need. Must have experience drafting motions, arguing law and motion matters, taking and defending depositions, reviewing standard court documents, writing, reviewing and monitoring discovery; generating status reports. Admitted to practice law in New Jersey. Admission in New York is a plus.

The candidate should have outstanding personal and communication skills to quickly establish rapport and work with diverse audiences. Should have ability to make court appearances on a regular basis. Must be comfortable working in a dynamic environment. Should have excellent research and writing skills. Ability to track time and bill appropriately according to quota needed. Should have excellent planning and organizational skills; consistent attention to details. Should have excellent writing and communication skills.
