Baltimore office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks immigration attorney with 1+ year of experience in the following areas of immigration law: family petitions, asylum, individual hearings, SIJS hearings, U-Visas, waivers (including I-601A, I-601, I-212), cancellation of removal. The candidate will conduct potential new client meetings. Will coordinate case and legal strategies. Manage various projects and deadlines. Ability to train and supervise administrative staff and paralegals. Prepare, and revise documents. Research unique legal issues by identifying applicable statutes and judicial decisions. Maintain informed of legislative changes that may affect immigration. Develop solutions to complex legal questions. Attend master calendar hearings, bond hearings, and individual/merits hearings. Must be active in Bar association in Maryland (or ability to waive in immediately). Should preferably have experience in the following: O Visas, H1B, employment petitions, eligibility under 245(i), and PERM. Must be fluent in Spanish.
The candidate should have J.D. degree.
