Scottsdale office of our client seeks commercial litigation associate attorney with 1-7 years of experience. The candidate will prepare pleadings and ancillary correspondence for all phases of litigation. Will conduct motion practice and attend court when required during the litigation lifecycle, which may include first-chairing trials. Effectively and responsively communicate with Firm clients, opposing counsel, opposing parties, and court staff. Implement strategies to collect on judgments obtained on behalf of clients. Conduct legal research required to make successful legal arguments and recommendations to Firm clients. Document account/file activity in accordance with Firm and client policies and procedures. Attend continuing education classes, webinars, and seminars to remain current and well-informed of any local, state or federal changes in the law, rules of court or court procedures. Provide guidance and training to administration staff. Perform other duties as assigned. Must be a California licensed attorney. Having multi-state licenses in California and Arizona, or ability to become licensed in either or both states, are preferred. Knowledge of federal, state and local laws is essential.

The candidate should have JD degree from an accredited law school. Possesses a collaborative disposition. Should have superior time management skills who is adept at managing priorities to meet business requirements and deadlines in a dynamic and fast paced environment. Possesses leadership skills and the ability to drive and motivate other employees to achieve results. Excellent written and oral communication skills are required.
