Mergers and Acquisitions Resource Attorney

Santa Monica office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks mergers and acquisitions resource attorney with 4+ years of experience in a US M&A corporate/transactional practice. The candidate will be inputting deal terms from signed firm deals into the recently revamped Transaction Database and coordinating with the firms knowledge management team to audit and maintain the database. Will be preparing drafts (or revising existing precedent) of template documents. Curating and organizing the M&A groups forms, precedents and other know-how. Monitoring legal and regulatory developments relative to M&A practice; preparing summaries and alerts regarding same; ensuring new legal requirements are reflected in our practice resources. Coordinating with the firms legal education team to brainstorm content for associate training and other firm-wide training efforts relative to M&A. Working closely with the M&A marketing team to strategize on firm M&A promotion generally (including content for the M&A blog), assisting the marketing team with the creation of content for pitches and teach-ins (PPTs, articles, books, etc.). Helping field day-to-day requests from attorneys for precedents, templates, and other resources. Be involved in resource, knowledge management, and practice innovation projects TBD. Must be a licensed attorney. Strong drafting and organizational skills are required.
