Lake Mary office of our client seeks managing attorney with 3+ years of experience. The candidate will be immediately immersed in the litigation process from suit initiation up through and including conducting trial. Will be responsible for your own workload, and maintaining case files currently in progress. Be responsible for formulating and executing effective litigation strategies necessary to secure the most favorable outcome in contested suits and counterclaims. Delegate tasks to appropriate legal staff as necessary and frequently communicate with clients. Be responsible for negotiating with defendants and defense attorneys to settle contested cases. Draft and file motions as well as responses to motions and participate in the discovery process where applicable. Work with clients to develop overall litigation strategy and will be required to draft, review, and file any necessary motions, memorandums, discovery, during the course of litigation. Prepare for trials/arbitrations as necessary for the firm. Communicate and negotiate with consumers, consumers employers, and consumers attorneys as necessary to resolve accounts/suits. Prepare for and attend, court appearances in Florida. Review all incoming correspondence received from Defendants and Attorneys to ensure actions are tasked as necessary to appropriate legal staff for handling. Review all new and ongoing legal pleadings, discovery and other documents to ensure accuracy for filing with respective courts. Must be licensed in good standing with the Florida Bar. Should have Microsoft Office skills.

The candidate will be comfortable appearing in court and the ability to appear on time consistently using own method of transportation. Multi-tasking and strong verbal and written communication skills are mandatory for a high volume case load.
