Los Angeles office of our client seeks mid-level transactional corporate associate attorney with 2-4 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, emerging companies, or venture work. The candidate will be responsible for managing client cases and resolving legal disputes on behalf of clients. Will also maintain up to date knowledge of industry laws and regulations, perform legal research, provides updates and regularly consults with Senior Associate(s) and Partners. Advise clients concerning business transactions, which can range in complexity from simple to complex. Prepare, draft, and review legal documents, such as contracts, leases, licenses, applications, appeals, real estate closing statements. Contribute to the firms success by continuously improving client relations, profitability, productivity and the collective expertise in cannabis law and the industry that defines firm. Attend company sponsored events or networking groups. Licensed attorney in practicing state(s) is required.

Juris Doctorate degree is required. Must have strong interpersonal skills, ability to work with clients, the public and individuals at all levels of the organization in a positive, collaborative manner. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, Net Docs, Lexis/Nexis, Westlaw, DocuSign and Clio preferred. Exceptional organization skills, strong self-motivator with high attention to detail. Excellent time and deadline management skills in fast paced environment, able to juggle multiple projects and reprioritize quickly and efficiently. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be able to uphold highest standards of discretion and confidentiality and exercise good judgment on day-to-day decisions.
