The candidate must have substantive experience in: analyzing fraud and abuse laws including the anti-kickback statute, the physician self-referral law (Stark Law), Medicare and Medicaid program rules, and other federal and state regulations applicable to health care sector; litigating matters arising under Title18 and 21 of the United States Code, the False Claims Act, and the Civil Monetary Penalties Law; conducting internal and parallel investigations, including overseeing large-scale document productions; advising health care entities on corporate governance, compliance, and risk mitigation strategies; counseling providers under federal and commercial payment audits; and challenging agency regulations and rule-making under applicable administrative laws, including the Administrative Procedures Act.

The candidate must have a very strong academic record paired with the skills, enthusiasm, and commitment to become a partner at this firm.
