Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review legal briefs, opinions, and correspondence.
  • Support patent litigation efforts, including discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop and execute legal strategies.
  • Stay current with developments in intellectual property law and technology trends.
  • Participate in client meetings and maintain effective communication with clients.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience in intellectual property law, with a preference for patent litigation experience.
  • Background in electrical/computer engineering, mechanical engineering, physics, or a similar technical field.
  • Superior academic credentials with a strong academic record.
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical/computer engineering, mechanical engineering, physics, or a related technical field.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Bar in Washington, DC, or eligibility to waive into the Washington, DC Bar.
