Labor and Employment Associate Attorney

Sacramento office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks labor and employment associate attorney with 2-4 years of substantive litigation experience, preferably with a labor and employment emphasis. The candidate will be joining its Labor and Employment practice group. Will be working regularly with private sector and public agency clients by providing both litigation support and day-to-day advice and counsel on a variety of labor and employment matters. Serving litigation in all phases of the firms labor and employment practice, including law and motion practice, written discovery, depositions, drafting pleadings, pretrial preparation, witness and exhibit preparation, trial and appeals. Researching and advising clients on personnel and employment-related issues. Labor and Employment experience a plus. Should have experience with taking and defending depositions.

The candidate must have top academic credentials, be highly motivated, self-sufficient, and have a high level of dedication and discipline. Must have exceptional writing skills and strong academic background. Should have ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Must have ability to effectively work with people, exercise sound judgment, and establish and maintain professional relationships with clients and colleagues.
