Mid-level Corporate M&A Associate Attorney

Washington, D.C. office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks mid-level corporate M&A associate attorney with 3+ years of experience in corporate transactions with an emphasis on private M&A and private company financings, including private equity, venture capital and general corporate governance. The candidate should preferably have experience with M&A in regulated industries. Must have a strong working knowledge of acquisition agreements and the other documentation used in complex M&A and private equity transactions and proficiency in drafting the same. Must be well-versed in the mechanics of leading an M&A transaction from inception to closing; experience leading due diligence teams; general corporate and corporate governance experience. Must be admitted to District of Columbia or be eligible to waive into DC Bar.

The candidate should have strong interpersonal skills, a high degree of maturity, and a proven willingness to accept significant responsibility and manage a challenging workload within a fast-paced environment. Strong academic credentials and writing skills are essential.
