Los Angeles office of our client seeks wage and hour class action attorney with 3-7 years of employment law experience. The candidate should have experience specifically wage-and-hour law including defending complex wage-and-hour litigation matters. Should preferably have experience handling all aspects of litigation, such as interviewing witnesses, reviewing electronically stored documents, drafting pleadings and various motions and briefs including oppositions to class certification motions, conducting and defending depositions, interacting with clients and opposing counsel, and attending to certain court appearances. Admission to practice law in California is mandatory.

The candidate must possess strong academic credentials and have excellent oral and written communication skills.

The Los Angeles office of this large, national firm is among the largest of the firms offices, with especially strong practices in the areas of labor and employment law and health care law. Offering services to a wide variety of clients both in southern California and nationally the firms attorneys also regularly practice in areas that include general litigation, government contracts, intellectual property, and corporate and securities law. Many of the firms partners have served in key government positions with, among others, the U.S. Departments of Justice, Labor and Health and Human Services, the National Labor Relations Board, and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
