Boston office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks business immigration attorney with 8+ years of experience, with particular focus on the PERM process. The candidate will analyze legislation, regulations, agency policy, and U.S. government adjudication trends, and translate them into client communications, practice tools, and internal legal guidance. Will work closely with firm attorneys and other professionals to answer legal questions and strategize complex cases with a focus on positive outcomes and risk management. Help advise the firms corporate teams on the impact of U.S. legal and administrative changes on corporate functions, including the firms case management systems. Help plan and deliver the teams monthly U.S. practice conference calls, continuing legal education programs, and related initiatives. Monitor and analyze U.S. immigration legislation, regulations, policy, adjudication trends, and practice changes. Develop policy and practice guidance on U.S. business immigration law, including employment-based permanent residence, foreign labor certification, nonimmigrant visa classifications, consular practice, and related compliance issues, with a focus on positive results and risk management. Write fast, practical analyses of legislative, regulatory, and administrative developments and trends for the firms clients, emphasizing the business impact of changes in immigration policy and practice. Provide real time advice to firm Partners, counsel, and associates on individual and corporate case matters. Provide legal updates and practice advice to the firms corporate groups, including Information Technology, Human Resources, Office of General Counsel, and related functions. Work with government agency representatives and allied organizations on U.S. immigration policy advocacy and complex case matters. Develop and present legal training to the firms U.S. practice. Must be a Member of NY State Bar or admitted to practice in the state of work location (or ability to waive in).

The candidate should have exceptional communication, legal research, writing, and mentoring skills. Must have a high level of legal judgment. Should have ability to communicate complex legal/policy issues clearly and accurately for colleagues and clients. Must have great people skills, a service mindset, and an ability to collaborate effectively with senior, peer, and junior colleagues. Should be self-sufficient and able to manage workload to meet project deadlines. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment needed. Should have JD degree from an accredited, ABA-approved U.S. law school.
