Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Employment Litigation Attorney to join its Philadelphia, PA office. This role offers a unique opportunity for an attorney with over three years of experience to engage in hands-on litigation and work with a team of accomplished attorneys on complex and impactful cases.

Duties

• Draft and respond to written discovery, pleadings, and motions.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Prepare for and participate in hearings, mediations, and court appearances.
• Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies.
• Manage case files and assist with case progression from inception to resolution.
• Perform case assessments and evaluate liability and exposure.
• Maintain proactive communication with clients, providing strategic legal guidance and updates.
• Collaborate closely with partners and senior attorneys on complex litigation matters.

Requirements

• Admission to practice in Pennsylvania required; New Jersey admission is a plus.
• 3+ years of litigation experience.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented mindset with a strong desire for professional growth and advancement.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania.
