Portland office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a privacy, standards, and commercial contracts associate attorney with 3+ years of experience. The candidate must have experience in: advising clients on their obligations under information privacy laws; advising on email marketing and online advertising and matters relating to cloud storage; preparing privacy policies for websites and mobile applications; negotiating contractual provisions allocating risk between clients and service providers related to personal data, trade secrets, and confidential information; advising on representations and warranties related to privacy and security in M&A transactions; advising on the use of cookies, Google Analytics, and other common technologies in websites; assessing and advising on matters related to technology standards; and drafting and negotiating commercial contracts and intellectual property agreements. Must have admission or eligibility for reciprocity to the Oregon State Bar, Washington State Bar, or California State Bar.

The candidate must have excellent academic credentials and professional references, as well as solid legal research, writing, and communication skills. Demonstrated ownership of projects and willingness to work hard in a team-oriented setting, but with significant independence is required.
