Attorney

Topsham office of our client seeks an attorney with 2+ years of experience. The candidate will represent clients in court or before government agencies. Will prepare and draft legal documents on behalf of clients. Advise clients on business and legal transactions. Negotiate settlements for legal disputes. Comply with all legal standards and regulations. Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law. Previous experience in law is required. Should preferably have experience in the following areas of law: family law, personal injury, and general civil litigation. Experience with landlord/tenant law is a plus.

The candidate must be highly motivated, enthusiastic, aggressive, and energetic. Must be comfortable with trial work. Familiarity with various legal documents is required. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are needed. The ability to build rapport with clients is essential. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.
