Boston office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks trust and estates associate attorney with 3-5 years of sophisticated estate planning experience. The candidate will work closely with a senior partner servicing high net worth clients. Will be responsible for the planning and implementation of sophisticated estate planning strategies and involves extensive interactions with clients and their other professional advisors. Handle a wide variety of tasks to assist attorney in the practice, including drafting trust and estate documents and communicating with clients or client representative. Advanced knowledge and mastered skills in the areas of trust administration, estate planning strategies and income, gift, estate and generation-skipping tax matters, including tax return preparation is required. Strong working knowledge of Massachusetts probate and trust law is essential. An LL.M in taxation is preferred. This is a partnership track position.

The candidate must have superior academic credentials including a J.D. degree. Should be extremely effective in a fast-paced environment, multitasking and assisting a highly experienced senior partner to deliver high quality client service. Ability to use all MS Office software including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook is essential. Knowledge of Client Records management software such as Netdocs is a plus. Ability to operate effectively in an environment that stresses individual accountability is needed. Strong interpersonal communication skills are a must. Should be highly organized with an extreme attention to detail. Must be able to use effective problem solving and analytical skills.
