Purchase office of our client seeks commercial real estate finance associate attorney with experience. The candidate will be assisting attorneys and acting as lenders counsel in all aspects of pre-closing and closings, including due diligence and correspondence with title companies, surveyors, borrowers counsel and clients for properties throughout the United States; Loan Document negotiation. Will be reviewing title commitments and underlying title exception documents and surveys. Coordinating with title company and surveyor to finalize for closing. Reviewing commercial leases and preparing lease abstracts. Performing other tasks and duties as assigned in all phases of the real estate life cycle. Knowledge or interest in Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac multifamily, affordable housing, and other areas of public finance and community development is preferred.

Bachelors Degree and J.D. from an accredited law school is needed. Comprehensive proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel) is needed. Excellent written and verbal communication skills is essential. Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task and meet deadlines; desire to be trained and mentored in a fast-paced, team environment is needed. Ability to interact effectively with attorneys and colleagues is required.
