Business Associate Attorney

Royal Oak office of our client seeks a business associate attorney with 2+ years of experience as a corporate attorney. The candidate will work with the CEO, fellow attorneys, paralegals, and administrative assistants to achieve outstanding results for the clients. Will draft and negotiate purchase agreements, leases, closing documents, etc. Perform real estate transactions and closings. Obtain licenses for a variety of service industries. Draft cannabis license applications and various documents pertaining to the multiple-step process. Perform due diligence on behalf of clients seeking to purchase membership or shareholder interests. Bill a minimum of 1,440 annual and collectible hours while providing an exceptional client experience. Perform due diligence activities on behalf of clients seeking to purchase membership or shareholder interests. Perform research and assist with projects as needed. Experience in real estate, corporate law, regulatory compliance, and/or business litigation is essential. Must have a valid law license and be in good standing with the Michigan Bar Association needed. Should have a J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
