Charlotte office of our client seeks attorney with 3-5 years of litigation experience, preferably in employment law. The candidate will work on class, collective, and representative actions challenging wage theft, employee misclassification, and workplace discrimination. Will have a very active role in all cases, including working closely with clients and potential clients; investigating new cases; handling discovery; taking and defending depositions; writing and arguing motions; participating in negotiations and mediations; and representing employees in arbitrations. Work on negotiating severance agreements and non-competes; helping workers understand their rights in discriminatory circumstances. Should be licensed in North Carolina.
The candidate should have exceptional legal research and writing skills.
