Houston office of our client seeks immigration attorney with experience. The candidate will prepare and attend an interview at the USCIS, represent in cases of Court, Detainees, Parole, Bond. Will perform legal research as needed. Prepare and file immigration petitions. Should have broad expertise on Asylum laws, both, affirmative and defensively. Must preferably have experience with Asylum, U Visas, I-601A Waivers, Consular/NVC Process, PERMS, H-1B's, L-1, E-2, O-1 and NIW's. Must be admitted in Texas or any U.S. State. Must speak fluent Spanish. Knowledge required: Proficiency with Word, Excel and Outlook.
The candidate should have great drafting skills, client communications management skills, work independently and interact with government officials to move cases forward. Must be able to manage complex tasks efficiently; prioritize work load in an extremely time-sensitive field of law; meet strict deadlines; be highly detail-oriented and have the ability to edit carefully; provide outstanding client service; flexible and adaptable to fast-paced setting; organized; self-motivated with strong initiative; possess a positive attitude and a professional demeanor. Must have excellent written communication skills.
