Personal Injury Attorney

San Antonio office of our client seeks a personal injury attorney with 2+ years of experience in personal injury plaintiff or defense work. The candidate will work closely with the managing attorney, case managers, and other staff to assist during the pre-litigation and litigation phases. Will meet and interact extensively with clients. Analyze investigation/claim materials. Conduct a liability analysis. Review medical records. Attend court conferences, hearings, depositions, and meditations. Prepare pleadings, discovery, motions, responses, and other legal documents. Prepare cases for mediation, and/or trial. Assist with settlement and trial related responsibilities. Work in collaboration with Managing Attorney and staff on significant legal matters. May supervise support staff. Always maintain client confidentiality. Use good judgment to discern what issues may be urgent and need a managers attention. Work closely and in tandem with other team members. Ensure all policies and procedures are followed. Communicate daily with Managing Attorney and paralegal using multiple mediums (i.e. e-mail, written reports, one on one presentations, case management system, etc.). Relay client complaints, issues, and requests to managing attorneys and case managers quickly so they may be addressed appropriately. Occasional travel throughout Texas; and other duties as assigned. The ability to speak Spanish is preferred. Must be admitted to practice law in the State of Texas.

Should have the ability to work well with others. Multi-tasking skills and the ability to work well under pressure essential. Ability to maintain client confidentiality at all times.
