The candidate involves providing advice to clients and plan service providers on compliance with ERISA, PPACA, HIPAA, and other federal and state laws impacting employee-benefit plans; plan document drafting (plan documents/amendments, summary plan descriptions, and plan policies); and attending client meetings. Prior experience working with qualified retirement plans, self-funded health and welfare plans, and/or LL.M. degree in tax or tax certificate preferred.
