Washington, D.C. office of our client seeks healthcare attorney with 4-5 years of experience. The candidate should have transactional experience. The candidate will be working with firm attorneys on all aspects of transactions, including drafting and commenting on transaction documents, performing health care regulatory due diligence, analyzing transaction structures to assess compliance with health care regulatory requirements, supervising more junior associates and paralegals working on the transactions, coordinating with clients and other outside counsel, and taking the lead on items requiring follow-up. Will be conducting fraud and abuse analyses and draft/review contracts with health care regulatory implications. Experience researching, analyzing, and advising on Medicaid and Medicare A, B, C, and/or D requirements as well as state and federal fraud and abuse laws (the Anti-Kickback Statute, the Stark Law, the False Claims Act, similar state laws) is required. Experience representing clients in a variety of transactions (including mergers, stock and asset acquisitions and sales, and joint ventures) and drafting contracts is strongly preferred.

Must possess a strong academic background and strong writing, contract drafting, and interpersonal skills and a commitment to client service.
