Dallas office of our client seeks an immigration attorney with 1 year of experience with removal defense proceedings. The candidate will represent clients in removal proceedings before EOIR at both the immigration court and BIA levels. Review applications for submission to USCIS, Department of State, and other federal agencies. Represent clients at USCIS interviews including adjustments of status, naturalizations, etc. Represent clients in federal district court proceedings in a wide range of suits including APA violations by USCIS, mandamus, habeas corpus, and judicial review of naturalization proceedings under 8 USC 1447(b) and 1421(c). Mentoring will be provided for those inexperienced with these kinds of cases. Manage a team of paralegals, providing guidance and direction in case preparation. Conduct new client consultations as needed. A law license is required. Spanish fluency is preferred. The firm offers benefits that include a Flexible schedule, Health insurance, and paid time off.
