Capital Markets Associate

Job Overview:
A distinguished international law firm is seeking a mid-level Associate Attorney to join its highly regarded Capital Markets practice in New York. This role is ideal for attorneys with 2–5 years of experience in structured finance, including exposure to purchase and sale transactions, servicing agreements, and financing deals. Location:

Duties:

• Represent purchasers, sellers, servicers, creditors, and borrowers in structured finance transactions

• Draft and negotiate primary transaction documents, including purchase and sale agreements, servicing agreements, and financing contracts

• Manage client and counterparty communications throughout transactions

• Coordinate transaction closings with internal teams and external parties

• Support ongoing structured finance and securitization work as needed

Requirements:

• 2–5 years of legal experience in structured finance (law firm experience required)

• Demonstrated experience with purchase and sale transactions, servicing agreements, and financing deals

• Strong transaction management and negotiation skills

• Ability to thrive in a team-oriented legal environment

• Application must include a law school transcript

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in the State of New York

• In good standing with the New York State Bar
