Real Estate Attorney

Dallas office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a real estate attorney with 4-8 years and 4,000 hours of experience in negotiating, drafting, and closing commercial real estate transactions. The candidate will receive 60-80% of assignments involving commercial real estate representation of active real estate owners, developers, managers, lenders, or brokers. Should expect virtually no single-family residential or consumer real estate transactions. Will have the opportunity to develop a mastery of real estate transactions, including insight into how real estate shapes commercial markets in Texas and nationwide. Must have primarily residential or consumer real estate experience and should be expected to discuss in detail how that experience may assist and translate to commercial practice. Should have current experience in representing real estate owners, developers, managers, investors, or brokers in three or more of the types of transactions mentioned above. In this role, the candidate will receive half to two-thirds of their matters involving commercial real estate work from the active real estate owner, developer, manager, or broker clients the Firm maintains. Additionally, may have experience in investment, corporate, and/or M&A transactions. Must have basic familiarity with managing and reviewing title opinions, drafting objection letters, and resolving deal-prohibitive title issues, coverage, and other common ALTA endorsements.
