Pine Brook office is seeking an attorney with 2+ years of experience with focus on Pharmacy, Life Sciences, and/or Healthcare related matters. Description: Candidates should be familiar with handling an array of health insurance and managed care related issues on behalf of pharmacy & Healthcare clients, including defending pharmacy benefit manager (PBM) and insurance audits, investigations and network terminations Handling an interesting and diverse docket of pharmacy and life sciences regulatory issues, assessing operational structure and processes of pharmacies and health care/life sciences companies, and drafting policies and standard operating procedures, including assisting in the formation of effective compliance programs, analyzing and structuring arrangements among Life Sciences stakeholders, including contracts between pharmacies and pharmaceutical manufacturers, contracts involving hubs, payor contracts, etc, drafting policies and procedures regarding marketing activities related to pharmacies and drug products, reviewing payor, sale, software licensing, and central fill and shared services agreements, assisting pharmacies in obtaining state licensure and assisting in the representation of clients before the state licensing boards, communicating with clients, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of associate attorneys, encompassing contractual, legal and regulatory analysis and advice. Candidates must have a Juris Doctorate (JD) degree, with great academic credentials Licensed to practice law in New Jersey in good standing (or licensed in another state with ability/willingness to become admitted in New Jersey), previous supervisory experience, have a familiarity with healthcare laws and regulations, have superior research and writing skills, and strong communication skills.
