Insurance Defense Litigation Attorney

Miami office of our client seeks insurance defense litigation attorney with 3+ years of experience. The candidate will manage a caseload from case inception through trial/resolution. Will conduct legal research and supervise research projects delegated to paralegals. Prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and reports. Attend court proceedings, depositions, mediations, and meetings with clients. Negotiate settlements. Should have proficient use of technology and automation resources, such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Prior insurance defense and/or personal/bodily injury litigation experience essential. Must be licensed member of the Florida Bar in good standing.

The candidate should have eagerness to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment. Should have excellent and persuasive verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and time management skills needed. Must have commitment to delivery of high-quality work product.
