Job Overview:

The Mid-level Intellectual Property Associate Attorney will be responsible for handling intellectual property and patent litigation matters, conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, and providing legal advice to clients.

 

Duties:

  • Conduct legal research on intellectual property laws and regulations
  • Draft legal documents, including complaints, motions, and briefs
  • Prepare and respond to discovery requests
  • Assist with deposition preparation and attendance
  • Represent clients in court hearings and other legal proceedings
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on intellectual property matters
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff on case strategy and management

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
  • Admission to the State Bar
  • 3-7 years of experience in intellectual property and/or patent litigation
  • Excellent research and writing skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Strong advocacy ability
  • Highly motivated with excellent academic credentials
  • Superior writing and communication skills

 

Education & Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
  • Admission to the State Bar
