Mid-level Corporate Associate/Lawyer

London office of our client seeks mid-level corporate associate/lawyer with experience of private mergers and acquisitions, private equity and joint ventures and an interest in the Technology, Media and Telecoms (TMT), Financial Institutions and FinTech sectors. The candidate will serve in diverse client base ranging from technology start-ups and venture capital firms to private equity firms, large corporates and financial institutions. Will develop and apply technical knowledge and professional skills. Focus on efficiency. Develop the business/clients (maintain client relationships and deliver excellent service). Work effectively with and through people. Promote and demonstrate good citizenship (values and strategic priorities). Should preferably have equity capital markets experience. A strong background in mergers and acquisitions, venture capital / private equity and joint ventures across the Financial Institutions, TMT and FinTech sectors is essential. Experience of managing multi-jurisdictional projects is needed.

The candidate should have excellent technical legal and business development skills, be passionate about the sectors covered by the team, and be willing to work hard and get stuck into some cutting-edge global projects. An international outlook and entrepreneurial mindset is needed. Business development skills and enthusiasm to help build the practice further is essential. Should have excellent academic background.
