Frisco office of our client seeks attorney with 5+ years of experience practicing in the areas of municipal law. The candidate will be providing legal services encompassing a wide range of municipal laws with minimal supervision. Will be attending city council meetings and transactional work involving land use and developmental regulations, municipal ordinances and resolutions, economic development, contracts, open records requests and real estate transactions. Prior employment in a law firm representing local governmental entities or in a municipality and familiarity with local government processes is a plus. Must be currently licensed and in good standing to practice law in the State of Texas.

The successful candidate will be analytical, thorough and detail-oriented. Must have excellent organizational skills and be proficient and knowledgeable in Microsoft Software, document management, and file and calendar management. Shows a commitment to serve the public. Timely carries out assigned projects to their completion. Asks for direction as appropriate. Balances among competing priorities and multitasks appropriately.
