San Diego office of an AmLaw firm seeks business immigration associate attorney with 5+ years of experience including managing others, overseeing work flow, and delegating case assignments. The candidate will assess eligibility of corporate foreign national employees for non-immigrant and immigrant visa status in the United States. Will work with client global mobility personnel and the office of general counsel to prepare petitions and applications for submission to United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and the Department of Labor (DOL) for non-immigrant and immigrant status for foreign national employees. Support clients in immigration program management and compliance. Supervise the work of paralegal staff in record keeping and document preparation. Perform other duties as required. Must be a Member of State Bar Association (CA preferred). Prior team management experience is strongly preferred. EB5 and E1/E2 experience is essential. Experience with small to medium size clients across all nonimmigrant and immigrant visa types is needed. Knowledge of both IV and NIV matters is a plus.
