Charlotte office of our client seeks disbursement/personal injury attorney with 5+ years of experience. The candidate will manage part of the settlement process to ensure the clients receive the best possible outcome for their cases. Will be responsible for working with peers in the firm to move files as quickly as possible through the settlement process and for reviewing settlement memos for accuracy. Additional responsibilities include routinely performing settlement calls with the clients. Perform disbursement appointments regularly. Handle escalated calls that require attorney communication. Review Settlement Memos for accuracy after negotiations are complete. Answer questions from other attorneys and team members regarding settlements. Handle calls from adjusters, regarding issues, post-settlement. Ensure the firm method of asking for referrals is employed during each disbursement. Must have knowledge of Microsoft Windows/Office and ability to learn and use various software programs. Experience using Needles or Litify software preferred essential. Bilingual (Spanish) a plus. Undergraduate degree in business preferred.

The candidate must have passion for client service and for building a world-class operation. Must have ability to build strong relationships and manage multiple priorities. Strong math skills a must. Should have excellent analytical, oral and written communication skills and attention to detail. Must have ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-volume practice. Must demonstrate the highest level of personal integrity, client confidentiality and adherence to ethical standards. Juris Doctor from an ABA accredited law school essential.
