A law firm is actively seeking a qualified Healthcare Associate Attorney with a minimum of 3 years of experience to join their esteemed team in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing initial case analysis, developing case strategies, preparing and responding to discovery, taking and defending depositions, and attending hearings. The role requires strong communication skills, the ability to build client relationships and proficiency in negotiation and problem-solving. Duties:

  • Provide initial analysis of healthcare-related cases and develop effective case strategies.
  • Prepare and respond to discovery requests.
  • Take and defend depositions and represent clients during hearings.
  • Explain legal options to clients and highlight potential outcomes or threats.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare clients.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor degree from an American Bar Association-accredited law school.
  • In good standing and able to practice law in the state of Georgia.
  • 3+ years of experience with case handling, depositions, and motion writing.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and a solid academic background.
  • Excellent communication skills, including negotiation and public speaking.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
  • Experience with iManage and/or OneDrive is a plus.

  • Ability to conduct legal research effectively.
  • Computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
